Deborah Brett - How To Style It this Christmas
We sat down with Deborah Brett, Wardrobe Icons Editor at Large and Founder Member of the British Fashion Council to find out how she is styling her favourite Wiggy Kit pieces this Christmas. Take a look at her festive edit and order now to wear in time for Christmas!
"The intricate embroidery on the black Marais Dress is so beautiful. I love the feather detail of the stitching and the mix of fabrics from the heavier cotton canvas to the soft velvet and the brass rivets. It makes this dress something rather special and timeless. I wore it to a friend's festive party with my trusty cream Zara boots and pair of vintage onyx earrings, letting the dress do the talking. I got compliments all night. I also love wearing a chunky sweater over the top, transforming the dress into a skirt and a more casual look."
"I styled my blue Bow Tie Top with a simple cream polo neck from Cos and an old pair of flares from Made in Heaven and a pair of Isabel Marant clogs. It's simple and roomy trapeze shape gives it a more casual everyday feel. If I wanted to smarten it up, I'd take the polo neck off, wear a lovely gold necklace and pair with a pair of velvet trousers or a skinner jean and a pair of high heels, making it the perfect piece to go from day and out to dinner."
"For me the Ines Dress is super versatile. It's light weight in silk and can be worn layered for winter days. I love adding a sheer merino polo neck underneath and some chunky heels boots and then adding a velvet blazer for the perfect Christmas Day outfit. Love accenting an outfit with a coordinating lip colour. I used Nars Cruella. Chic, yet relaxed and a drawstring that can be let out if I've consumed too many mince pies! It will also see you through into spring and then into summer, simply strip it back to a pair of sandals and a chunky necklace"
